Mrs. Manpreet Maycock
Manpreet Maycock is currently serving as Assistant General Manager at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, where she leads women’s initiatives and VITAL 5 health interventions, focusing on reducing health inequalities for marginalized communities, including Latin American and LGBTQ+ populations in Southwark. She has also played a vital role in managing the Trust’s vaccination programme, driving high uptake of flu and COVID-19 boosters across South East London.
As an Army Reservist with 7 Military Intelligence (MI), Manpreet supports defence efforts and actively advocates for women to pursue careers in the armed forces, emphasizing the military as a viable and rewarding career path.
Before her current role, Manpreet worked extensively in HR, gaining valuable experience in employee relations, leadership development, and organisational change. Her background in HR continues to inform her approach to strategic leadership and operations management in healthcare.
Manpreet holds a CIPD Level 5 qualification in Strategic People Management and is currently pursuing a Master’s in the same field. A graduate of Delhi University with a BA in Philosophy, she has built a reputation for strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to adopting inclusive environments.
In addition to her work within the NHS, she is a passionate advocate for women's rights and works closely with local charities to combat domestic abuse.
